Freddie Mercury was born Farrokh Bulsara on 5th 1946, Zanzibar. Freddie was shipped to St Peter's English boarding school in Panchgani, where his teacher had noticed Freddie's musical talent. He starded to play the piano. Freddie was a good sportsman as well. Freddie loathed cricket and long-distance running, but he liked hockey, sprint and boxing. In 1963, the family, with the addition now of younger sister Kashmira, moved to England. Two years later Farookh began studies at Ealing College of Art. He left college in 1969 with a Diploma in Graphic Art & Design (The equivalent of a Degree). Glazura i terakota Freddie joined his first serious band in 1969, they were called IBEX. He played with Tim Staffell, Brian May and Rogerem Taylorem but finally together with Brian and Roger he created the Queen. Freddie stood 5ft 9 and a half inches tall with black hair and dark brown eyes. He was single and shared his large house and garden with several cats. Freddie Mercury died on November 24th 1991. |
